This interactive workshop is facilitated by internationally renowned speaker and coach, Dan Markovitz.  Dan will draw from his new, award-winning book, Building the Fit Organization, to describe the six core principles that can make any organization stronger, faster, and more competitive.

By reframing continuous improvement as a journey toward organizational fitness, Dan provides a familiar-feeling approach to improvement. No manufacturing examples, Japanese terms, or business jargon.

Building the Fit Organization will teach you how to:

  • Increase commitment to improvement
  • Focus on increasing value, not just reducing costs
  • Think horizontally, versus vertically
  • Define the right way to work
  • Develop visual management and real-time feedback
  • Coach with respect, on the front lines

This half-day working session is designed for anyone who wants to know more about continuous improvement, and how to introduce and apply it to any working group.

Your facilitator for this session, Dan Markovitz, helps organizations around the world become better, stronger, and more agile through lean techniques.  In addition to writing Building the Fit Organization, Dan also authored A Factory of One, which won the coveted Shingo Research Award in 2013.
