In this one-hour webinar, learn how Training Within Industry (TWI) is used as a powerful method for knowledge capture, training, people development, and coaching!

Training Within Industry was developed by the U.S. War Department in the 1940s, and was critical to building the skilled American workforce that became the "Arsenal of Democracy".  Students of lean understand how it later became an important cornerstone of the early Toyota Production System in post-WWII Japan.  But the story of TWI doesn't stop there.

Much has been done to strengthen, refine, and apply TWI since the days of the Second World War.  Today, Training Within Industry is enjoying a resurgence of popularity.

Join us for this exciting one-hour webinar to learn how TWI is used as a vehicle for development and coaching, and how it aligns with and supports every organization's continuous improvement efforts.

Our presenter is Bryan Lund, Senior Director of Plant Operations at Revision Eyewear in Burlington, Vermont.  He has studied TWI extensively, launched The TWI Blog, and co-authored the TWI Job Instruction Training Implementation Manual.
